There is a God that created you and loves you very much.  He gave us life and deserves our gratitude and love.  (Genesis 1:1)  We, however, have chosen to disobey Him and we have sinned against Him... all of us have failed to do what is right. We may not be more "sinful" than our neighbor, or we may be far worse than anyone we know, it does not matter, because either way, we are guilty before God.

 

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." -Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." -Romans 6:23

 

If you want to be free from the guilt of your past, if you want to go to heaven when you leave this world, then this is what you must do;

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." -Romans 10:9

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." -Romans 10:13

 

The ABC's of Salvation

A- Admit to God that you are a sinner.

B- Believe in Jesus Christ as God's Son and receive Jesus' gift of forgiveness from sin.

C- Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to others"

 

Pray a prayer like this in your own way;

 

"Dear God, I confess to you my sins and my need for Salvation.  I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I turn away (repent) from my sins and I ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart as Savior and Lord. Amen."
